Poster series for California College of the Arts Design Division

Bob Aufuldish explains: This series of posters were designed for use on the CCA campus and printed digitally. Because a small number was produced, each poster in the series of ten has a unique background image. Thematically, the identity is designed based on the principle of pentimento—evidence of an autobiographical trace in a work. This manifests throughout in the background images, where older works from the studio have been repurposed and treated with a large dot halftone effect. The patterns and clouds unify the system when it is applied to screen and social media use. The signature typeface is The Future Mono from Klim Type Foundry.
