The short-lived Institute Of advanced Uncertainty (I.O.U.) was a not-for-profit artist-run multidisciplinary arts venue showcasing trajectories of the creative process—from false starts to dead-ends, digressions, fragments, sketches, marks and gestures, up to and including finished works. These posters were designed to announce an exhibition of Bob’s collages from the series, Disremembering. They’re based on the covers of the ten books designed to document the collage series, which ran for 1,000 consecutive days from September 10, 2015 to June 5, 2018. The collages were made from old analog film prints (with bits of other graphic detritus). You can see them all on Bob’s @aufuldish Instagram account.
